Children at this developmental stage learn best through play and concrete information. As relatives of cancer patients, they can quickly become overwhelmed with information. To address this, "HC And" is structured into short, manageable sequences that are accessible to "newbies" and help them start their journey of understanding.

The material includes seven staged stories that address common questions about cancer, chemotherapy, and radiotherapy. These stories serve as an educational tool for hospital staff, enabling them to establish a common framework of understanding with the child, making the hospital experience less daunting.
