How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE

After numerous trials, we've successfully navigated through all three Arata stages in *GHOUL://RE*. While these stages don't demand high gaming skills or extensive exploration, they do require a significant amount of Reputation grinding. Yes, you read that right—prepare for some serious grinding!

Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE

To kick things off, you need to accumulate **25,000 Reputation** points and reach the highest rank of **Special Investigator** within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the **Commission of Counter Ghoul** (C.C.G. center) and locate **Damiro D. Mado** on the second floor. He'll initiate your Arata Stage 1 quest, tasking you with collecting **10 one-eyed fragments** and **10 Kokuja fragments**.

The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses like **Eto and Tatara**, as shown below, and then crafting them at a crafting table. To check your Reputation, talk to **Saiyo Natsuki**, the NPC in a black suit and tie. Once you have all **20 fragments**, craft them into **five one-eyed Kokuja fragments** at the crafting station. Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE

To progress to **Arata stages 2 and 3**, you must play in **permadeath (PD) mode** to acquire the legendary armor. We recommend teaming up with reliable and strong players, as solo missions can be frustrating.

After gathering **100,000 Reputation points**, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to **the Laboratory**. Find **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, the man with the scalpel in a black suit by the door.

Hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments and your 100,000 Reputation to complete Stage 2 and acquire **Arata-Proto armor**. There have been debates about the necessary Reputation, with some suggesting 75,000 or between 90,000 and 100,000. However, from our experience, **100,000 Reputation points** guarantee success.

Remember, you must play Arata Stages 2 and 3 on **PD servers**. Otherwise, you'll receive a repeated response from the Black Reaper and won't be able to progress.

Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE

The final stage involves **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair**, more fragments, and a hefty sum of cash. Continue in **PD mode** to pursue the epic armor.

Once you've obtained a single one-eyed Kakuja fragment and saved **500,000 Yen**, visit **Black Reaper of Doom And Despair** in the C.C.G. building. After paying him, he'll teleport you to the **Kishou Arima boss**.

Defeating Kishou Arima requires at least average gaming skills. Prepare for a battle involving jumping, dodging, blocking, and dealing high damage. While challenging, Kishou Arima is not unbeatable, and with practice, even average players can triumph.

Be aware that you might die during this encounter, potentially multiple times. Ensure you have ample resources, as each retry requires another one-eyed Kakuja fragment and an additional **500,000 Yen**.

Upon defeating Kishou Arima, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor. However, be cautious; while Arata offers significant buffs and protection, it also has severe drawbacks.

Arata Armor Tips & Tricks

**Arata-Proto Armor Buffs**

Arata armor is powerful but comes with a catch—it **drains your hunger** rapidly while worn, and you can't eat while wearing it across all stages. To replenish your hunger, you must remove the armor.

The benefits, however, are substantial. Firstly, **you can't be ragdolled** while wearing Arata, providing a significant advantage in all scenarios.

Arata also enhances your equipment, making your character increasingly **"tanky"** and capable of both sustaining and dealing immense damage. If the armor depletes your hunger during a fight, it will start consuming your **health bar**. Be vigilant during boss fights and remove the armor if it becomes too risky, allowing you to recover.

**Reputation Grinding**

The fastest way to accumulate the required Reputation is by **fighting bosses in PD mode**. While dangerous, each boss defeated in PD mode grants **1,500 Reputation**, significantly more than the **500** you get outside PD. Killing Ghouls only yields **100 Reputation** points per kill, making them less efficient for grinding during Arata quests.
