The Pokémon Company, in partnership with the esteemed Japanese comic publisher Shogakukan, is set to unveil an official encyclopedia that delves into the behaviors and ecology of Pokémon. Shogakukan's announcement on April 21 confirmed the launch of Pokécology in Japan on June 18, 2025.

Pre-orders for this eagerly awaited book are now open at bookstores across Japan, with a retail price of 1,430 yen (including tax). While there's no official word yet on a global release, the worldwide popularity of Pokémon suggests that fans can look forward to an English edition in the near future.
