"Over the past year or more, I've actually tried to make contact through several different channels," Harada shared. However, he suspects that the lack of response might be due to the nature of his project being centered around "fighting-themed video games."

Harada emphasized that receiving "no response" is a rare occurrence and indicated his openness to alternative solutions. He suggested that if a different name or format could convey the same core message, he would be willing to explore those options seriously. One such alternative he proposed was "Hustle House," which could serve as a parody or in-universe facsimile of the beloved diner.

While fans may have to wait a bit longer to see Kazuya and Jin duke it out under the iconic yellow lights of a Waffle House sign, Harada's willingness to consider creative alternatives keeps the dream alive. In the meantime, Tekken 8 continues to evolve with the latest update, Patch 2.01, and the confirmed addition of Fahkumram to the roster. Harada has also reassured the community that the tuning team is working diligently to address feedback and enhance the game's future updates.
