GOMOKU Freestyle: Victory is achieved by creating an unbroken line of five or more stones horizontally, vertically, or diagonally.
CARO (Blocked Rule - Gomoku+): To win, a player must form an unbroken line of five stones that isn't blocked on both ends. Lines like XOOOOOX and OXXXXXO are not winning lines.
GOMOKU Standard: Similar to Freestyle, but overlines (lines of six or more stones) do not constitute a win.
RENJU: This version attempts to balance the inherent advantage of the first player (Black) by prohibiting certain moves for Black:
- Double Three: Black cannot create two separate three-stone lines.

- Overline: Six or more consecutive Black stones are prohibited.
