A No Trump Partnership Whist game for your smartphone or tablet!

Experience the excitement of Minnesota Whist, a popular no-trump variant of whist enjoyed in Minnesota and South Dakota. This free-to-play game is perfect for your smartphone or tablet, offering a fun and engaging way to enhance your card-playing skills.

In Minnesota Whist, the objective varies with the type of bid. For a "high bid," your goal is to win seven or more of the thirteen tricks, while a "low bid" challenges you to win six or fewer tricks. This simple yet strategic partnership trick-taking game is ideal for developing your strategic thinking and teamwork.

Collaborate with your AI partner to outsmart your opponents in this fast-paced card game. Whist is an excellent introduction to trick-taking games, allowing you to grow your skills and increase the difficulty level to hard when you're ready for a challenge.

To emerge victorious, you and your AI partner must outwit your opponents and be the first partnership to reach the win target, either 13 or seven. Keep track of your all-time and session stats to monitor your progress and improvement.

Customize your Minnesota Whist experience to suit your preferences:

● Choose your preferred win target ● Opt for a "set bonus" to add an extra layer of strategy ● Select from easy, medium, or hard difficulty modes ● Choose between normal or fast play ● Play in landscape or portrait mode ● Enable or disable single-click play ● Sort cards in ascending or descending order ● Replay hands from either the play or the bid ● Review previous hands played throughout the round

Personalize your game further with customizable color themes and card decks to keep the experience fresh and engaging.

Quickfire Rules:

After dealing the cards evenly among four players, each player bids either high (a black card) or low (a red card). The bid cards are revealed one by one, starting left of the dealer. The first black card turned over signifies a 'high' round, where teams aim to win as many tricks as possible. If all bid cards are red, the game is played 'low,' with teams trying to win as few tricks as possible.

In a high bid round, the player to the right of the one who 'granded' leads the first trick. In a low bid round, the player to the left of the dealer leads. Players must follow suit if possible; otherwise, they can play any card. The highest card of the led suit wins the trick, and the winner leads the next trick.

At the end of each round, points are scored based on the number of tricks each partnership collects. In a high bid round, the team that granded earns a point for each trick over six. If they fail to make seven tricks, the opposing team earns one or two points per trick over six, depending on the 'set bonus' setting. In a low bid round, teams earn one point per trick under seven.
