Rules of the Game Svara (Svarka)

Svara (Svarka) is an engaging card game played with a deck of 32 cards, ranging from 7 to Ace. It can be enjoyed by a minimum of two players, and the total number of possible combinations in the game is 4,960.

Rules

Each player is dealt three cards in a clockwise direction. Each card combination carries a specific numerical value, and the winner is the player with the highest points. The points are calculated as follows:

1. Cards from 7 to 9 award 7 to 9 points, respectively.
2. Cards 10, J, Q, and K each give 10 points.
3. Aces award 11 points.
4. Cards of the same suit sum their points. For example, Q♦, K♦, and 10♠ total 20 points, while 10♠, 8♠, and K♥ total 18 points.
5. Aces can be combined regardless of their suit; two Aces give 22 points, and three Aces give 33 points.
6. The 7♣, known as "Ceco Jonchev, Chechak, Chotora, Shpoka, or Yoncho," can be combined with all other cards for 11 points.
7. Three 7s give 34 points, making it the strongest combination in the game.
8. Three of a kind combinations carry points equal to three times the value of the leading card. For example, three 8s give 24 points (3x8=24), and three Queens give 30 points (3x10=30).

• 7♥, 9♦, 9♣ total 9 points (the lowest possible hand).
• 10♠, 10♦, 10♣ total 30 points.
• 8♣, K♥, 9♦ total 10 points.
• K♥, 9♥, Q♣ total 19 points.
• Q♣, Q♥, 9♦ total 10 points.
• A♠, A♦, 10♣ total 22 points.
• 8♠, A♦, 7♣ total 22 points.
• 10♦, 9♦, J♦ total 29 points.
• Q♣, Q♥, Q♦ total 30 points.
• 7♣, K♥, K♦ total 31 points.
• 7♣, A♥, A♦ total 33 points.
• Two 7s, regardless of suit, total 23 points.

Betting

1. Before the cards are dealt, each player places an initial bet known as the ante.
2. The player to the left of the dealer makes their announcements. Before seeing their cards, they may place a blind bet.
3. If a player makes a blind bet, the next player to their left has the option to double it.
4. If a player skips the blind bet, the next player cannot place a new blind bet. (Blind bets are optional.)
5. After the cards are dealt, players place their bets.
6. If there is a blind bet, the next player must at least double the bet.
7. If the player who made the blind bet wants to see the other players' cards, they must pay the bet.
8. If there is a blind bet and no one pays it, the player who made the last blind bet wins.
9. The player with the highest points wins the game.
10. If there is no blind bet and no other bets, the dealer wins.
11. If two or more players have the same number of points, a "SVARA" occurs.
12. A "SVARA" is a new game that includes all bets from the previous game.
13. Any player can join the "SVARA" after paying the SVARA join amount.
