Please note that the app comes with just one sample song. To fully experience the game, you'll need to manually add your music data to your device's storage or SD card.

Without the score data, you won't be able to play the game. Due to enhanced security in Android, upgrading from Taiko Daijiro 2 means the default TJA folder under the root folder is no longer accessible. This has led to the development of this standalone app.

I apologize to those who have left reviews; I haven't been able to read and respond to them all. If you have any requests, please send us an email, and we'll definitely look into them.

We're sorry, but with the vast array of Android devices out there, we can't test the app on every single one. We regret that we cannot support devices on which the app does not start. Before launching the application, please clear background tasks using a task killer or similar tool.

Please note that we do not respond to inquiries about obtaining TJA files and skins.

■How to Insert Songs

Place your music files (tja) in the following folder:

/Android/data/com.daijiro.taiko3/files/TJA

(Note: The /TJA folder used in Taiko-san Daijiro 2 is inaccessible from regular apps due to security enhancements.)

If you're migrating from Taiko-san Daijiro 2, use a file management app to copy or move your score files.

For downloads from the internet, save the zip file to the "Taiko-san Daijiro 3" folder.

If you don't have a genre.ini file in your genre folder, the genre will be listed as "Uncategorized".

■How to Insert the Skin

The app supports skin data from "Taiko-san Jiro 2", though some skins may not be implemented yet. Skin data from the original "Taiko-san Jiro" (not version 2) is not supported. Be aware that depending on your device model and the skin data, performance might slow down.
