Temple Run 2 promises to deliver the same excitement to fans as the original. Players can select from four distinct characters: Guy Dangerous, Scarlett Fox, Karma Lee, and Barry Bones. In this sequel, your mission is once again to escape the temple while being pursued by the Temple Guardian—a fearsome Evil Demon Monkey. Beyond the classic running, jumping, and sliding, you must now navigate treacherous cliffs, ride zip lines, and dash through mines and dense forests.

The core gameplay of Temple Run 2 remains faithful to the original. Swipe up to leap over gaps and obstacles; swipe down to slide under low ceilings and traps; swipe left or right to make sharp turns. Tilt your device to steer along the path, narrowly avoiding dangers while collecting coins and power-ups.

The game features various power-ups and unlockable content purchasable with coins earned through gameplay, or via optional in-app transactions. While Temple Run 2 doesn't force purchases, the option to buy coin packs offers a tempting shortcut.
