Agung had always been the curious type, the one to wander off the beaten path in search of adventure. It was this curiosity that led him to the outskirts of the well-known territories, into the dense jungles surrounding their hometown. But this time, his wanderlust took him too far, and he found himself hopelessly lost.

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows that seemed to dance menacingly among the trees, Agung stumbled upon a village that appeared to be abandoned. The sign at the entrance read, "Welcome to South Meraung Village." The air was thick with an eerie silence, and the buildings looked as though time had forgotten them.

Meanwhile, Arip, Agung's lifelong friend, grew worried when Agung didn't return home by nightfall. Knowing Agung's adventurous spirit, Arip decided to search for him, armed with nothing but a flashlight and his determination.

As Arip ventured deeper into the jungle, guided by the faint hope of finding his friend, he too stumbled upon the ominous sign of South Meraung Village. A chill ran down his spine as he entered the village, the flashlight beam cutting through the darkness like a knife.

Inside the village, Agung felt a growing sense of unease. The silence was broken only by the occasional whisper of the wind, which seemed to carry voices from another world. He found himself drawn to a dilapidated house at the center of the village. As he approached, the door creaked open as if inviting him in.

Agung stepped inside, and the door slammed shut behind him. Panic surged through his veins as he tried to open it, but it was as if an unseen force held it closed. The air inside the house was cold, and the walls seemed to close in on him. Suddenly, ghostly figures began to materialize, their faces twisted in agony, their eyes hollow and accusing.

Outside, Arip heard Agung's muffled cries for help. He rushed to the house, his heart pounding in his chest. As he reached the door, he could feel the same sinister energy that Agung had encountered. With all his might, Arip pushed against the door, and it finally gave way.

Inside, he found Agung surrounded by the spectral apparitions. Arip's presence seemed to weaken their hold, and Agung managed to break free from their grasp. Together, they ran out of the house, the ghosts wailing behind them.

As they fled the village, Arip and Agung could feel the spirits of South Meraung Village chasing them, desperate to reclaim their lost souls. They didn't stop running until they reached the safety of their hometown, breathless and haunted by what they had witnessed.

The South Meraung Village remained a dark secret between them, a chilling reminder of the dangers that lurk in forgotten places. And though they were safe, the echoes of the ghostly whispers haunted their dreams, a constant reminder of the night they narrowly escaped the clutches of the unknown.
