Tute is a widely enjoyed card game in Spain and has also gained popularity in Latin America. It can be played by 2 to 5 individuals or by four players divided into teams of two.

The objective of Tute is to be the first player or team to accumulate a predetermined number of points. The game utilizes a Spanish deck consisting of forty cards.

In terms of card hierarchy and scoring, the order from highest to lowest is as follows: Ace (valued at 11 points), 3 (10 points), King (4 points), Knight (3 points), Jack (2 points), and then 7, 6, 5, 4, and 2 (the latter being white cards with no point value).

Gameplay begins with the first card setting the suit for that round. Players must then follow with a card of the same suit if possible. If a player cannot follow suit, they may play any card, including trump cards. The highest trump card wins the trick; if no trump is played, the trick is won by the highest card of the leading suit.
