The leaked key art hints at the possibility of it being the Until Dawn Remastered version rather than the original 2014 release, though this has not been verified. According to speculation within the PlayStation subreddit (thanks to PushSquare), this move might be aimed at promoting the newly released Until Dawn movie. The film, which premiered just before the weekend, did not meet our expectations, earning a 5/10 in IGN's Until Dawn movie review. We noted that "Until Dawn is more disappointing than deadly, leaving all the promise of the horror game behind for a jumble of horror-movie re-creations."
