Tracking Down Poachers in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's "Bird of Prey" Quest

The "Bird of Prey" quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 requires locating five poacher groups. The game doesn't pinpoint their exact locations, making this a challenging task. This guide provides detailed locations and strategies for finding each poacher.

Poacher #1:

This poacher is relatively easy to find. After initiating the quest, head north of the pond, enter the forest, and navigate through the dense shrubs. Their camp is nearby. Peaceful resolution is recommended; this poacher is easily persuaded to surrender. Secure a piece of their equipment as evidence.

Poacher #2:

This is arguably the most difficult poacher to locate. While speaking to quest markers can help narrow the search, the image above shows a direct route. This poacher is more resistant and may require high persuasion skills or, as in my case, force. Take their equipment as proof.

Poacher #3:

Located in Slatego Forest (information can be obtained from Gravedigger Ignatius near Apollonia), this poacher's trail leads to two locations. The first is an empty camp; search for clues. The second location, west of the camp, reveals wolf-ravaged remains – the poacher. Eliminate the wolves and collect evidence.

Poacher #4:

This encounter involves three poachers deep within the woods. Direct confrontation isn't necessary. Examine three pieces of evidence: a deer carcass, a deer hide, and a hanging deer carcass. This is sufficient to report back to the gamekeeper.

Poacher #5:

The final poacher is Hans, located near rocks on the west side of the designated area. Apprehension is impossible; collect his poaching kit as proof.

Completing the "Bird of Prey" quest involves finding all five poachers. Prioritize peaceful resolutions to avoid reputational penalties.
