Warner Bros. Discovery's sudden removal of several Cartoon Network and Adult Swim games from digital storefronts has sparked significant fan backlash. The delistings, which occurred on December 23rd, 2024, affected at least six titles without any clear explanation from the publisher. Gamers can no longer legally purchase these popular titles.

This action is consistent with Warner Bros. Discovery's recent cost-cutting measures, which have included shelving films and removing content from streaming services. A similar mass delisting of Adult Swim games occurred in March 2024, though public outcry prevented the removal of some titles. This time, however, several beloved Cartoon Network games have been removed.

The affected games include:

• Adventure Time: Finn and Jake's Epic Quest (released April 2014)
• Adventure Time: Magic Man's Head Games
• OK K.O.! Let's Play Heroes (released 2018)
• Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time (released 2020)
• Steven Universe: Save the Light (released 2018)
• Steven Universe: Unleash the Light (released 2021)

While some Cartoon Network Games remain available, the lack of explanation for these delistings has angered fans, particularly the removal of Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, which contained the canonical conclusion to the show's fifth season. Warner Bros. Discovery, Cartoon Network Games, and Adult Swim Games have yet to provide a reason for this action.
