Oni Press has taken the reins of the Adventure Time franchise, launching fresh comic book tales with Finn, Jake, and their quirky crew. The publisher is set to launch the next major story arc, "Friends to the End," in its monthly series, with IGN offering an exclusive peek at the cover art for issue #5.

Adventure Time #5 is penned by Nick Winn (Silver Sprocket’s Bloody Mary) and illustrated by Kenzie Bugg (Adult Swim’s Tuca and Bertie). The duo also crafted covers for this issue, joined by Shelli Paroline, Braden Lamb, and Agustin Morales. A backup story by Derek Ballard, a writer and storyboard artist from the Adventure Time animated series, is also included.

Following their cosmic dance showdown, Finn and Jake learn that Billy has mysteriously resurfaced in the Computer Kingdom! Eager to secure the Enchiridion for Computer Princess and cement his status as a true hero, Finn races to the scene—but Billy isn’t what he seems. What secrets lurk in Computer Princess’s past? And what shadowy fate looms over Finn’s future? Surely it’s not something utterly diabolical… or is it?
