Studio Will be at Gamescom this Year

Radical Fish Games, renowned for their acclaimed action RPG CrossCode, has officially introduced their latest project, Alabaster Dawn. Previously teased as "Project Terra," the game was fully unveiled on the developer's website. Fans can look forward to its Steam Early Access release towards the end of 2025, with the game now open for wishlisting on Steam.

Additionally, Radical Fish Games plans to launch a public demo for Alabaster Dawn at a later date, aligning with its Early Access debut in late 2025.

For those heading to Gamescom this year, you're in for a treat. Radical Fish Games will be on-site, offering a select group of attendees an exclusive hands-on experience with Alabaster Dawn. While spots to play are limited, the studio assures that they will be available at their booth for discussions from Wednesday to Friday.

Alabaster Dawn's Combat Inspired by DMC and KH

Set in the desolate world of Tiran Sol, Alabaster Dawn presents a landscape marred by the wrath of the goddess Nyx, who has transformed the world into a wasteland and eradicated the presence of other gods and humans. As Juno, your quest is to resurrect the remnants of humanity and break Nyx's curse that plagues the land.

Alabaster Dawn promises an extensive gameplay experience, spanning 30-60 hours, with seven distinct regions to explore. Players will engage in activities such as rebuilding settlements, establishing trade routes, and diving into dynamic combat inspired by the likes of Devil May Cry, Kingdom Hearts, and CrossCode. With eight unique weapons, each featuring its own skill tree, alongside parkour, puzzles, enchantments, and cooking, the game offers a rich and varied gameplay experience.

The developers proudly announced that Alabaster Dawn has achieved a significant milestone, with the first 1-2 hours of gameplay nearly fully playable in its current development stage. "It may not sound like much, but getting to that point is a big milestone for us," they stated, emphasizing the importance of this achievement in their journey to bring Alabaster Dawn to life.
