Remedy Entertainment Unveils Development Updates for Upcoming Titles

Remedy Entertainment recently shared progress updates on its diverse game portfolio, including the Max Payne 1 & 2 Remake, Control 2, and Codename Condor. These updates, revealed in the company's latest financial report, shed light on the development stages of each project and Remedy's overall strategic direction.

Control 2 Nears Completion

The highly anticipated Control 2 has reached a crucial development milestone: production readiness. This signifies a fully playable version of the game exists, and the team is now focused on scaling up production, encompassing rigorous testing, performance optimization, and quality assurance to meet established standards. Concurrently, the Control Ultimate Edition, developed in partnership with Apple, is slated for release on Apple silicon Macs later this year.

Codename Condor in Active Development

Codename Condor, the Control universe's multiplayer spin-off, is currently in full production. Development includes the creation of multiple maps and diverse mission types. Internal and limited external playtesting is underway to gather feedback and validate features. This marks Remedy's debut into the live-service gaming market, with a planned "service-based fixed price" release model.

Alan Wake 2 and Max Payne Remake Updates

Alan Wake 2's Night Springs expansion has received positive critical acclaim and player response. The game itself has already recouped a significant portion of its development and marketing costs, indicating strong sales performance. A physical Deluxe Edition is launching October 22nd, followed by a Collector's Edition in December. Pre-orders are available on the official Alan Wake website.
