Liquid Glass isn’t just about looks—it's changing how you interact with your iPhone, starting with the Phone app. Users can now customize the layout to suit their lifestyle. Additional features include a pre-screen function allowing callers to leave a message before the call connects, as well as improved hold music detection.

Messaging Gets a Fresh Look and New Features

iOS 26 brings visual and functional upgrades to the Messages app. Users can personalize conversations with custom chat backgrounds and benefit from enhanced spam filtering. Group messages now include a typing indicator bubble, finally giving users real-time awareness of when someone is responding.

macOS Tahoe Introduces Liquid Glass to the Mac
