Announced via Twitter (X) on May 1, this roadmap promises a thrilling lineup of new story and gameplay content for fans of the action-adventure series.

Ubisoft's commitment to Assassin's Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) is evident in their detailed year 1 post-launch roadmap. The roadmap includes multiple free Story Drops, which are designed to enrich the game's narrative and gameplay. According to Ubisoft, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

In addition to the free content, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first major expansion, The Claws of Awaji, scheduled to launch later this year. This expansion takes players to the new region of Awaji Island, which becomes accessible after the epilogue of the base game. Players can look forward to encountering new enemies, unlocking new abilities for both protagonists, and wielding an exclusive new weapon designed specifically for Naoe.
