Baldur's Gate 3 mod has been updated. It added a “superboss” of level 27 and a sheep-killer
Trials of Tav - Reloaded, a major overhaul by modder Celerev, transforms the original Trials of Tav mod by adding a challenging roguelike mode. This update significantly increases the difficulty.
New enemies, refined game balance, and a formidable level 27 superboss await. Conquering this superboss signifies a true completion of the roguelike run.
The expansion goes beyond a single boss fight. Over 60 enemies from the base game, including rare foes like Nine-Fingers Keene and Killer Sheep, have been integrated. Gameplay mechanics have also been adjusted: trading has been rebalanced, and the difficulty scaling has been tweaked to prevent new enemy abilities from becoming insurmountable.
Celerev acknowledges the foundational work of the original mod's creator, Hippo0o, highlighting the original mod's design as highly adaptable. Players preferring the original experience can still access the unmodified Trials of Tav.
For players seeking a demanding challenge or those anticipating Patch 8 (with its promised crossplay and other enhancements), Trials of Tav - Reloaded offers a compelling alternative.
