Larian Studios has officially announced that the much-anticipated Patch 8 for *Baldur's Gate 3* will launch on Tuesday, April 15. This update has been rigorously tested in a stress test environment, and now, it's ready for all players to enjoy. Patch 8 introduces an array of exciting new content to the critically acclaimed Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game, including 12 new subclasses, a photo mode, cross-play functionality, and Xbox Series S split-screen support. Bard - College of Glamour
As a College of Glamour Bard, you harness the power to both heal allies and command foes. With the Mantle of Inspiration, you can bestow your allies with 5 temporary hit points, and if an enemy attacks while this is active, they become Charmed. Leverage this with Mantle of Majesty to command Charmed enemies to flee, approach, freeze, drop to the ground, or disarm themselves.

Barbarian - Path of Giants
Choosing the Path of Giants as your Barbarian subclass grants you the strength and size of a giant, thanks to the Giant’s Rage passive. This not only increases your carry capacity but also enhances the damage you deal with Throw attacks, making it easier to toss both friends and foes around the battlefield.

Cleric - Death Domain
As a Death Domain Cleric, you unlock dark new abilities, including spells that specialize in necrotic damage and three new necromancy cantrips. With Toll The Dead, you can cause 1-8 damage, scaling if your target is already injured. Additionally, you can now explode nearby corpses, dealing damage to enemies.

Druid - Circle of Stars
Circle of Stars Druids draw power from the cosmos, utilizing one of three Starry Forms: the Archer for dealing radiant damage, the Chalice for restoring hit points, and the Dragon for enhancing constitution rolls. Each form not only enhances your aesthetic but also offers strategic gameplay advantages.

Paladin - Oath of the Crown
As an Oath of the Crown Paladin, you are sworn to uphold law and order. With Righteous Clarity, you can guide your companions in battle, while Divine Allegiance allows you to absorb damage for your party and restore their health, making you a formidable protector.

Fighter - Arcane Archer
The Arcane Archer subclass blends magic with archery, offering unique skills and new shooting animations. You can banish foes to the Feywild or deal Psychic damage that may blind enemies, adding a magical twist to your marksmanship.

Monk - Drunken Master
The Drunken Master Monk can consume alcohol from their inventory or the environment to recover Ki. Using Intoxicating Strike, you can share a bottle with enemies to boost your Armour Class and hit chance against Drunk targets. Additionally, Sobering Realisation can sober up targets while dealing physical and Psychic damage.

Ranger - Swarmkeeper
Swarmkeeper Rangers can summon three types of swarms: Cloud of Jellyfish for lightning damage, Flurry of Moths for Psychic damage and potential blindness, and Legion of Bees for piercing damage and knockback. Each swarm also offers teleportation capabilities.

Rogue - Swashbuckler
The Swashbuckler Rogue brings a piratical flair with new actions like tossing sand to Blind enemies, flicking your weapon to Disarm them, and using Fancy Footwork to prevent opportunity attacks after melee engagements.

Sorcerer - Shadow Magic
Shadow Magic Sorcerers thrive in darkness with Superior Darkvision and the ability to Shadow Walk. They can also summon the Hound of Ill Omen and use Strength of the Grave to stay in the fight, making them ideal for challenging gameplay modes.

Warlock - Hexblade
Hexblade Warlocks form a pact with a Shadowfell entity, wielding magical weapons to curse enemies. By slaying non-elemental, non-construct, non-giant blob, or undead foes, you can summon their spirit for 10 turns, dealing necrotic damage and healing your Warlock.

Wizard - Bladesinging
Bladesinging Wizards combine swordplay with spellcasting, featuring new spellcasting animations and the Bladesong ability, which enhances speed, agility, and focus, and provides a bonus to Constitution saving throws.
