Planned DLC Changes

Following player criticism, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will modify its upcoming DLC content. The development team announced on August 27 via the game's official Twitter (X) account that adjustments are being made to the paid clan DLCs featuring Lasombra and Toreador.

Players expressed confusion about these clans being excluded from the base game, particularly since they play significant roles in the storyline. Many believe both clans should have been included from the start rather than being part of the Shadows & Silk DLC, which will be available when the game launches.

Publisher Paradox Interactive has previously demonstrated flexibility with paid content, as seen with Cities: Skylines 2 in 2023. The $10 post-launch DLC received negative feedback for lacking substantial content, leading the publisher to make the Beach Properties DLC free and issue refunds to early purchasers.

With several months remaining until Bloodlines 2's release, players are hoping for similar consideration. Paradox has committed to sharing details about the DLC adjustments as soon as possible.

Video Content Schedule

As Bloodlines 2 approaches its launch date, the developers have outlined a series of video showcases. Following the August 28 livestream that featured early game footage, seven additional videos are scheduled before release.
