Castle Doombad triumphantly returns to Android as "Castle Doombad: Free To Slay"! Developed by Grumpyface Studios and published by Yodo1, this tower defense strategy game, originally released in 2014, is back and better than ever.

Grumpyface, known for hits like "Steven Universe: Attack the Light" and "Teeny Titans," initially planned a simple remake. However, they cleverly divided the project into two: "Free To Slay" for mobile and "Castle Doombad Classic" for PC and Nintendo Switch (releasing later this year). "Classic" boasts remastered visuals, updated content, and enhanced features. A sequel, "Castle Doombad 2: Muahaha!", is also in development.

In "Free To Slay," players embrace their villainous side, constructing a wicked lair while thwarting heroic do-gooders. Unlike traditional tower defense games, traps and minions are your primary weapons.

The free-to-play model includes ads and optional in-app purchases. The game features 70 stages, daily challenges, endless modes, 30+ traps to unlock and upgrade, and over 100 collectibles. A customizable cosmetic system, "spoils," lets players adorn their Dark Lord and his lair with evil artifacts. These can be paired with "Baddie Bonus" perks.

A new roguelite mode, "Dr. Lord Evilstein's Roguevenge," adds replayability with randomly generated castle layouts and powerful Nightmare abilities. Download "Castle Doombad: Free To Slay" from the Google Play Store today!
