Chrono Trigger Celebrates 30 Years with Upcoming Projects and a Special Concert

Square Enix has announced the 30th anniversary of the beloved RPG, Chrono Trigger. To mark this milestone, they've promised a series of projects launching throughout the year. While details remain scarce, the announcement hints at possibilities beyond a simple game-related celebration.

This news has ignited fervent speculation among fans, many of whom have long awaited a proper remaster or modern console release. Despite its iconic status as one of the greatest JRPGs ever made, Chrono Trigger has surprisingly never received a full remake or a PlayStation release beyond the original PS1 port from 1999.
