The game instantly feels unfinished by Civ standards. Resource icons look straight out of the 90s, the UI is atrocious, and everything appears hastily thrown together.

The trademark Firaxis polish is completely missing here. This messy release contrasts sharply with Civ VI's launch. At minimum, the interface needs complete redesign to justify the steep $70 price tag. Playing this feels like Sid Meier personally mugged me - without consent.
