Nordcurrent, the developer behind the wildly popular Cooking Fever, is celebrating the game's 10th anniversary this September with a unique twist: a Guinness World Record attempt! Their ambitious goal? To build the most burgers in under a minute.
Cooking Fever, a hit in the Diner Dash-style genre, propelled Nordcurrent to success. Now, as the game approaches its decade milestone, they're aiming for a world record outside of in-game achievements.
Instead of focusing on in-game metrics, Nordcurrent is staging a real-world Cooking Fever event. They'll be competing to surpass the current Guinness World Record, set in 2021 by George Butler (UK) and matched in 2024 by Iris Cazarez (Mexico), both with eight burgers assembled in under a minute.
