In Path of Exile 2, the Currency Exchange system is a pivotal feature that allows players to convert their lower-tier Currencies into higher-tier ones, essential for trading with other players or using them as Crafting materials. Understanding the current exchange rates is crucial but can be challenging due to their constant fluctuation in response to market dynamics. The only reliable way to stay updated on these rates is by checking them directly in the game.

How to Check Currency Exchange Rates in PoE 2

To access the Currency Exchange, you need to reach Cruel Difficulty in any Act and then speak to the gambling vendor. Once there, you'll be presented with a Currency Exchange menu featuring two boxes for different Currencies.

Start by clicking the left box and selecting the Currency you're interested in acquiring. For instance, if you want to know the current price of a Divine Orb, you would click on the left item tab and choose the Divine Orb from the list.

Next, click the right item tab to view a list of your available Currencies across your Inventory and Stashes. To continue with our example, if you're checking the price of a Divine Orb in terms of Exalted Orbs, you would select Exalted Orb from your available Currencies in your Stash.

The conversion ratio between the selected Currencies will be displayed between the two item selection boxes. If you want to acquire a Divine Orb using Exalted Orbs, you'll need to pay the amount of Exalted Orbs shown on the right side of the ratio.

This process works both ways. If you possess a Divine Orb and wish to convert it into Exalted Orbs, simply select Exalted Orb from the "Want" list and your Divine Orb from the "Have" list.

Keep in mind that Currency Exchange rates are updated constantly, meaning the value of one Currency in relation to another can change significantly within a short time frame. It's advisable to check these rates frequently while playing to seize opportunities for advantageous trades on powerful Currency items.

However, not all Currency combinations will be available for exchange. If a particular combination, such as Divine Orb for Scrolls of Wisdom, is not listed, no ratio will be shown, and the exchange will not be possible.
