Developed by Rebel Wolves, a studio founded by ex-CD Projekt Red (CDPR) developers, this game promises a rich and immersive experience. The Blood Of Dawnwalker Aims For AAA Quality

In an interview with Games Radar, Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz, the creative director of The Blood of Dawnwalker, emphasized the team's commitment to delivering top-tier quality. Despite being a smaller studio embarking on their debut project, their aim is to match the excellence seen in CD Projekt Red's The Witcher 3. When questioned about the game's categorization in the industry spectrum between indie and AAA, Tomaszkiewicz was clear: "In terms of quality, we definitely look at AAA, because this is where we are coming from, the quality level of The Witcher 3."

Rebel Wolves, though a new studio, is staffed with seasoned professionals who previously contributed to The Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk 2077. Founders Mateusz and Konrad Tomaszkiewicz established Rebel Wolves to explore greater creative freedom, unhindered by the limitations often found in larger AAA studios.

Mateusz Tomaszkiewicz further explained the scope of the project, noting that while The Blood of Dawnwalker might be smaller in content and gameplay hours compared to traditional AAA titles, the team's focus remains on robust quality. The main campaign is expected to span 30-40 hours, which Tomaszkiewicz acknowledges as shorter than some AAA game lengths. "If size is your measure, then yes it's not the size of a AAA like The Witcher. But I don't know if size is the measure, to be honest, because there are AAA games like Call of Duty that aren't 100+ hours gameplay campaigns. And I don't know if anyone would call them AA, or indie."

The Blood of Dawnwalker is set in the mystical land of Vale Sangora, where players will assume the role of Coen, a young peasant transformed into a vampire after a fateful encounter. Coen's journey is driven by the urgent need to save his sister from a mysterious illness, navigating through a dark fantasy world filled with challenges and adversaries.
