Days Gone Remastered is just around the corner, and Sony's Bend Studio has recently shared exciting details about the enhanced accessibility features that will be part of this updated version. One of the standout features is the ability to adjust the Game Speed, allowing players to slow down the action when things get intense.

In a detailed post on the PlayStation Blog, Kevin McAllister, Bend Studio's Creative & Product Lead, outlined the various accessibility options included in Days Gone Remastered. Players can now tweak the Game Speed from 100% down to as low as 25%, in increments of 75% and 50%. This adjustment is designed to assist players who might find high-pressure scenarios challenging.

Beyond the Game Speed option, Days Gone Remastered offers a range of other accessibility features, including customizable subtitle colors, a High Contrast Mode, UI Narration, and Collectible Audio Cues. The auto-complete QTE feature, which was previously limited to the Easy difficulty, will now be available across all difficulty settings, from Easy to Survival II.

Bend Studio has also confirmed that most of these new accessibility features will be introduced to the PC version of Days Gone. However, some features, such as feedback and control customization options, will require a compatible controller to work effectively.

Announced back in February, Days Gone Remastered promises additional enhancements like an improved photo mode, permadeath and speedrun options, alongside these accessibility improvements. This remastered edition of the 2019 post-apocalyptic zombie action-adventure game, centered around a biker's journey, is set to launch soon.
