Dead Island 2's Patch 6 introduces thrilling new gameplay options, including New Game Plus (NG+) and a challenging new horde mode, "Neighborhood Watch." This update significantly enhances the zombie-slaying experience.

New Game Plus and Enhanced Challenges

NG+ allows players to replay the entire game with their existing character, inventory, and increased skill slots. The level cap is raised, offering new weapons, skins, and significantly more difficult enemies. These new enemies, dubbed "Revenants," are powerful Apex zombie variants with enhanced abilities designed to provide a substantial challenge. Weapon power is also boosted in NG+, with a greater variety of higher-rarity weapons available.

Neighborhood Watch Horde Mode

Neighborhood Watch blends horde and tower defense elements. Players must defend their base for five in-game days, completing objectives and eliminating waves of enemies to earn valuable gear. This mode promises a fresh and intense take on zombie survival.

Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition

The newly released Dead Island 2: Ultimate Edition includes the base game, story expansions "Haus" and "SoLA," and the exclusive Kingdom Come: Deliverance II cosmetic weapon pack. This pack features the Memories of Banoi Pack, Golden Weapons Pack, Pulp Weapons Pack, Red’s Demise Pack, and all six Slayer’s Premium Skin Packs.
