Open Drive, a mobile racing game designed for accessibility, is now available in early access on Android. Developed by SpecialEffect, a charity dedicated to helping physically disabled gamers, in collaboration with Sun & Moon Studios, this title offers an inclusive gaming experience.

What Makes Open Drive Unique?

The game adapts to your preferred play style, supporting touch, keyboard, mouse, switch access, or controllers. Its inclusive design ensures accessibility from the start.

Players using alternative inputs like eye gaze can fully engage in this open-world driving adventure on mobile. A standout feature is the mobile-specific eye control, allowing steering through a compatible eye gaze camera by simply looking left or right.

This breakthrough enhances accessibility for players with physical disabilities, who often face barriers with standard touch or gamepad controls. The eye control feature spans all four open worlds: Stunt, Speed, Snow, and Meadow.

Open Drive Now Available in Early Access

The game automatically detects your control method and adjusts seamlessly. It fully supports Switch Access on Android.

Each input method offers tailored configurations. Touch controls include ‘Precise’ and ‘Classic’ modes for intuitive steering via taps or directional inputs.

Switch Access, mouse, keyboard, and Android-compatible gamepads also have customized setups for smooth gameplay.
