Escape Academy, a highly-rated escape-room puzzle game, is the Epic Games Store's free game offering for January 16th, 2025. This marks the fourth free game offered by the EGS in 2025.

This free giveaway, lasting until January 23rd, provides players with a full week to claim the title, developed by Coin Crew Games. Escape Academy tasks players with training to become escape room masters within the game's academy setting. The game originally launched in July 2022 for PC and consoles.

This isn't Escape Academy's first appearance as a free EGS title; it was previously offered as a mystery game on January 1st, 2024. However, this giveaway is the first time it's been available for a full week. The timing is particularly beneficial for Xbox Game Pass subscribers, as the game is set to leave the service on January 15th.
