Freedom Wars Remastered: Maximizing Combat Item Loadouts

Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options, but Combat Items, crucial consumables, are often limited. This guide explains how to equip more and acquire additional Combat Items.

Equipping More Combat Items

Increasing your Combat Item capacity requires specific Entitlements. While in your cell, access the "Window On Liberty" and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the "Equipment" section, then scroll to the "One-Item Permit." Subsequent permits, unlocked sequentially, increase your maximum equipped Combat Items to four.

These permits are readily obtainable; all four should be unlocked by CODE level 3. Remember, each permit unlocks only after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item automatically equips your entire stack; equipping a Frag Grenade, for example, uses all currently held grenades at the operation's start. Your Accessory slot also allows for one Combat Item, used at its discretion.

Acquiring More Combat Items

After completing the initial missions, access "The Warren" HUB area. Within The Warren, on the upper level's right side, you'll find "Zakka," a store selling weapons and consumables. Select "Buy Items" to access "Munitions" (damage-dealing items) and "Medical Supplies" (healing and restorative items).

Combat Items are purchased individually, with bulk purchases costing significant Entitlement Points. Prioritize donating old resources if you require large quantities of Medkits, for example. While Operations occasionally reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to time investment and the possibility of consuming more than you gain.
