A familiar face (or should we say, mask?) to veteran Sims players, Robin Banks returns in the latest update for The Sims 4, available now on PC and consoles. Get ready to safeguard your Sims' valuables! She favors the cover of night and typically targets sleeping Sims, but don't be fooled—a daring daytime heist isn't out of the question. Stay vigilant!

To deter this mischievous menace, equip your home with a burglar alarm. Triggering the alarm guarantees a swift police response, leading to Robin's arrest and the recovery of your stolen goods. Alternatively, you can call the police yourself if you catch her in the act—but be quick! Or, if you prefer a more direct approach… well, vigilante justice is always an option.

Burglaries are designed to be relatively infrequent, but if you crave chaos, activate the Lot Challenge "Heist Havoc" to significantly increase the chances of a visit from Robin Banks.

Despite being a decade old (The Sims 4), and with the franchise celebrating its 25th anniversary, the game continues to thrive. Last year alone, The Sims 4 attracted over 15 million new players. EA's Q2 earnings report highlighted the game's remarkable growth. Initially a premium title, it took four years to reach 20 million unique players. However, its transition to free-to-play in 2022 resulted in a staggering 31 million new players, bringing the total player count to 85 million by May 2024. And for those eagerly anticipating The Sims 5, there are currently no plans for its release… yet.
