Ahmed Alameen's debut point-and-click adventure game, My Father Lied, blends Mesopotamian history with a gripping narrative. Play as Huda, a young woman who begins investigating her father's twenty-year-old disappearance after discovering a previously unknown brother.
Alameen, initially a narrative designer collaborating with a classmate, took on the full development after their partnership ended, mastering game design to bring his vision to life.
The game features classic point-and-click gameplay, challenging you to solve puzzles using image reconstruction, code-breaking, and more, all within stunning, evocative environments. Alameen cites Myst, Heaven's Vault, and the works of H.P. Lovecraft as key inspirations.
Employing a blend of 2D and 360-degree imagery, including hand-crafted cutscenes, Alameen delivers high-quality visuals optimized for even low-spec PCs.
