FragPunk Console Launch Postponed: Technical Glitches Cited
The release of the hero shooter FragPunk on consoles has been postponed due to "technical issues." The launch date for the PC version remains unaffected and is still set for March 6. Currently, there are no announced release dates for the console editions.
Bad Guitar, the studio behind FragPunk, has announced an unexpected delay in the launch of the console versions of their new hero shooter for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Initially planned for a simultaneous release across all platforms on March 6, the developers have now informed players that console gamers will have to wait longer due to unforeseen technical challenges. Although a new release date for the console versions has not been confirmed, the team is committed to keeping the community updated on progress.
In response to the delay, Bad Guitar has announced compensation for everyone who pre-ordered the game on consoles. This includes the option for a full refund, as well as in-game bonuses such as credits and rewards from the first season, which will be available once the console versions are finally released.
Meanwhile, the PC launch of FragPunk is moving forward as planned and will occur on March 6, allowing PC gamers to dive into the action without any delays.
