Marvel Rivals Season 1 has launched with a bang, offering players a wealth of new content and exciting opportunities to acquire free skins. The season kicks off with the Midnight Features event, granting players a free Thor skin featuring his iconic winged helmet, navy chestpiece, and crimson cape. This event unfolds over a week, with challenges released in chapters. All quests and the Thor skin should be accessible by January 17th.

Beyond the Thor skin, players can also snag a free Iron Man skin by redeeming a code found on the game's social media channels. Adding to the freebies, a free Hela skin is available via Twitch Drops.

This season introduces the thrilling Doom Match mode, a free-for-all battle royale where the top 50% of 8-12 players emerge victorious. New maps, Midtown and Sanctum Sanctorum, expand the game's locations. A brand-new battle pass boasts 10 original skins and numerous cosmetic items, further rewarding players for their dedication.

The shop features new bundles for Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman, each costing 1,600 Units. Players can earn Units through in-game quests and achievements or by using Lattice, the premium currency. Completing the battle pass provides a significant boost, granting 600 Units and 600 Lattice. Human Torch and The Thing are slated for a major mid-season update.
