Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack adds two classic F-Zero GBA racing games!

These classic Game Boy Advance titles bring the adrenaline-fueled action of the F-Zero series to a new generation of players. Originally released in 2003 and 2004 respectively (Climax remaining Japan-exclusive until now), these games represent a significant addition to the service's growing GBA library.

The F-Zero franchise, known for its groundbreaking speed and intense competition, first debuted in Japan over 30 years ago. Its influence on the racing genre is undeniable, having inspired titles like SEGA's Daytona USA. The series pushed the boundaries of console technology in its time, delivering some of the fastest racing experiences on SNES and beyond.

Similar to the popular Mario Kart series, F-Zero challenges players to navigate treacherous tracks, overcome obstacles, and outmaneuver opponents in their powerful "F-Zero machines." The series' iconic protagonist, Captain Falcon, even makes appearances in the Super Smash Bros. franchise!

F-Zero Climax, the long-awaited addition to the West, marks a significant moment for fans. Its release, alongside F-Zero: GP Legend, concludes a nearly two-decade hiatus for the franchise (excluding last year's F-Zero 99).
