A recent leak has revealed that Genshin Impact's upcoming Version 5.4 will introduce four new Thespian Tricks in the Imaginarium Theater, featuring unique poses for Barbara, Sethos, Chiori, and Baizhu. As part of the game’s evolving endgame content, the Imaginarium Theater offers players a fresh kind of challenge—one that emphasizes horizontal team diversity rather than raw power or character investment like the Spiral Abyss.

Imaginarium Theater: A Test of Elemental Diversity

To successfully complete the monthly challenges within the Imaginarium Theater, players must maintain a well-rounded roster of Elemental characters. Each month, only three specific Elements are allowed (with occasional exceptions), pushing players to build flexible teams across all five elements. Success brings cosmetic rewards, including Envisaged Echoes and the increasingly popular Thespian Tricks—unique visual poses that bring personality and flair to your favorite characters.

According to beta footage shared by Firefly Leaks, these four characters will each receive exclusive poses in the next update. Chiori’s new pose is especially eye-catching and is expected to become a fan favorite. Given her rerun in Version 5.1 and her strong synergy with certain team comps—especially Mono Geo and Double Geo setups—players who already own Chiori can look forward to adding a stylish new visual effect to their collection.

Baizhu, meanwhile, is set to return on a new Chronicled Wish banner, giving more players a chance to obtain him before or during the Version 5.4 update cycle.

What to Expect From Genshin Impact Version 5.4

While Version 5.4 might be considered lighter in terms of traditional content updates—no new map expansion, Archon Quest chapter, Artifact Domain, or additional playable characters beyond Yumemizuki Mizuki—it promises a flagship event set in Inazuma, a region long overdue for major post-launch attention. This eagerly anticipated event will also include a dedicated Story Quest for Yumemizuki Mizuki, the new 5-star Anemo Catalyst user.
