To join the beetle brawl, you'll need:

• Adventure Rank 20 or higher.
• Completion of the Mondstadt Archon Quest Prologue. While not strictly required, completing Xianyun's Story Quest, "Grus Serena Chapter," adds context and introduces Shuyu.

How to Play Shuyu's Baffling Beetle Battle Bowl

The premise is simple: pilot your Onikabuto beetle in a simulated battle within the Teapot at Mt. Aocang against various enemies. Think of it as a whimsical beetle-battling pastime, a fun take on the usual Genshin Impact combat.

Controls are intuitive: Forward, Backward, and Jump. Mastering timing and stamina management is key. Movement consumes stamina, with stronger attacks like Piercing Strike using even more.

Here's a breakdown of each battle:

• "Staff Master Who Only Uses Basic Horizontal Sweeps": A straightforward Hilichurl. Focus on headshots and watch for ground indicators to dodge attacks.
• "Staff Master Who Waves a Torch About Non-Stop": A Hilichurl Berserker with a Pyro Slime. Target the head and exploit the Slime as a weak point, especially during its throw animation.
• "Mumbly-Bumbly Red-Hot Mage": A Pyro Abyss Mage. Interrupt its attacks, particularly its fireballs and flame pillars, then unleash a flurry of attacks.
• "Bouncy, Energetic Mage Who’s Actually Freezing Cold": A Cryo Abyss Mage. Use the same strategy as the Pyro Abyss Mage.
• "Big Guy Said to be Solid as a Mini Mountain": A Stonehide Lawachurl. A fast-paced fight. Target the Lawachurl, and when a Geo Slime appears, use a Piercing Strike for maximum damage.

Gameplay Strategies

Choose the "Focused Fight" (two-star) difficulty. This offers the best balance of challenge and reward, earning you additional Primogems (30-20 depending on the stage).

"Utmost Might" (three-star difficulty) unlocks after completing Focused Fight, but yields only Mora and Enhancement Ores, no Primogems.

Utilize Piercing Strikes strategically for increased damage in tougher battles. Consult the "Dossier on Opponent" for each enemy's attack patterns. Co-op mode is also available—hit "Match" to team up with other players.

Rewards

Complete all challenges on Utmost Might difficulty for a total of 420 Primogems! Additional rewards include Hero's Wit, Sanctifying Unction, Mora, and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
