Embark on the side quest "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*, which you can pick up from Miskowitz, located to the west of Kuttenberg City. This quest will put your blacksmithing skills to the test as you help Martha and uncover a mystery involving Victoria.

Speak with Martha

Begin your journey by visiting Martha in Miskowitz, a quaint village southeast of the region. She resides in the house connected to the local forge. Upon meeting her, inquire if she needs assistance. When she mentions needing someone skilled in blacksmithing, confidently tell her, “I’m a blacksmith! I’d be glad to help,” to initiate the quest. If you haven't yet, you can also discuss Matthew from the Dry Devil's group with the nearby bailiff, using him as a marker to locate Martha.

Craft Horseshoes

Screenshot by The Escapist. To advance in "Hush, My Darling," you'll need to craft two Farmer’s Horseshoes. If you've previously honed your blacksmithing skills, you might already possess the necessary materials. Otherwise, gather two pieces of Scrap Metal and head to the forge to create the horseshoes. Once crafted, return them to Martha.

Find Victoria

Screenshot by The Escapist. Martha will direct you to deliver the horseshoes to Victoria, who resides south of the forge. Upon reaching her house and entering the first door on the left, you'll discover blood instead of Victoria. Investigate the blood when prompted, then report back to Martha. Following her advice, head to Sigismund’s camp to search for Victoria.

Sigismund’s Camp

Screenshot by The Escapist. Located south of Opatowitz, Sigismund’s camp is your next destination. While en route, you might encounter Matthew if you're also tracking the Dry Devil quest. At the camp, find the blacksmith and inquire about Victoria. He'll mention that a soldier nicknamed Black showed interest in her. To locate Black, head to the infirmary tent where he's recovering from illness.

Screenshot by The Escapist. Black requests a Digestive Potion to treat his food poisoning before he'll assist you. If you don't have one, craft it and return to administer it. After waiting a few hours for the potion to take effect, Black will reveal that he believes Victoria fled to the woods to the east. Follow the quest marker to find her seated on a stump.

Victoria is distressed, so engage her in conversation about her situation. Your dialogue choices here won't impact future events, but if you secured a promise from Black to watch over her, sharing this with Victoria can offer her some comfort and hope for the future.

Completing this dialogue with Victoria marks the end of "Hush, My Darling" in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. From here, you can proceed with the main quests or explore other side quests like "In Vino Veritas."
