Just How Frightening Is It?

Set in 1898 within the eerie confines of Sker Hotel on the Welsh coast, Maid of Sker plunges players into a labyrinth of dark secrets and spine-tingling Welsh hymns. Drawing inspiration from Welsh folklore, particularly the legend of Y Ferch o’r Sker (The Maid of Sker), the narrative unfolds as Thomas Evans investigates his girlfriend Elisabeth Williams' family's unsettling behavior. However, the investigation takes a sinister turn when he discovers the hotel is under the control of the menacing "Quiet Ones."

The game's blind but acutely perceptive enemies pose a significant challenge. The slightest sound can attract their attention, demanding stealth and silence over combat. Similar to the film A Quiet Place, players must rely on cunning and strategy, utilizing a limited-use gadget to temporarily stun opponents.
