Heavy Metal #1 is set to impress with a print run of 73,000 copies, marking it as the largest print run the series has seen in several decades. Priced at $14.99, this hefty issue spans 232 pages, promising a wealth of content for readers.
The release is scheduled to hit comic shops on April 30, with newsstands following on May 13. The publisher plans to release future issues quarterly, but has indicated flexibility for a more frequent schedule should demand warrant it.
