WB Games has unveiled an exciting update for fans of the Harry Potter universe: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will officially support mods on PC. This long-awaited feature arrives alongside a major patch available for download via both Steam and the Epic Games Store.

The update introduces the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a powerful toolkit designed to empower players to craft new content—including custom dungeons, quests, and character modifications. The popular platform CurseForge will host and distribute these user-created mods, making it easy for players to discover and install them. Additionally, the game will now include a built-in mod manager, streamlining the process of browsing and applying mods directly from within the game interface.

At launch, several pre-approved mods will be ready for use, including "Dungeon of Doom", a fresh challenge filled with enemies to battle and secrets to uncover. However, there’s one important requirement: players must link their game accounts to a WB Games account to access mod functionality.

Beyond mod support, the patch also adds more character customization options, such as new hairstyles and outfits, giving players even greater freedom in personalizing their in-game appearance. A recent trailer highlighted some of the mods already available, offering a glimpse into the creative potential this update unlocks.

Looking ahead, WB Games has confirmed that development is already underway on the second part of the adventure game, which has been identified as a top corporate priority for the coming years.
