According to the Disney Parks Blog, this first-ever Lion King-themed land will become a centerpiece of the transformed Walt Disney Studios Park, soon to be rebranded as Disney Adventure World. Visitors can anticipate an immersive water ride retelling iconic moments from the 1994 classic, featuring a towering 120-foot Pride Rock alongside dining options, retail experiences, character encounters, and more.

A newly released concept image showcases lifelike Audio-Animatronics of young Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa enjoying grubs amidst vibrant jungle scenery. The attraction promises heart-pounding moments including a 52-foot plunge – slightly taller than Tiana's Bayou Adventure.

Set to debut after World of Frozen's 2026 opening, this expansion represents just one segment of Disney Adventure World's ambitious transformation, which will ultimately double the park's current size.
