The much-anticipated version 1.5 of Infinity Nikki was released by Infold Games with high expectations. However, the update fell short of promises, leading to significant technical issues and bugs across multiple platforms. Some players found the game unplayable, and unexpected changes to the game's systems further compounded the problems. For instance, the cost to obtain 5-star outfits increased from 9 or 10 pieces to 11, requiring up to 220 pulls to complete a set, making it more costly and time-consuming.

Additionally, the new dye system introduced in version 1.5 confused and frustrated players due to the need to unlock color palettes for each clothing item. The removal of the Threads of Reunion storyline also disappointed fans, as the associated outfit is still under development. Infold Games acknowledged these issues in a Twitter (X) post on May 18, apologizing for the "unstable game environment and unsatisfactory content." They explained, "Due to technical hurdles in Version 1.5, we were unable to properly refine the introduction of the Sea of Stars chapter and the narrative setup for Threads of Reunion, which regrettably led to confusion."

As a gesture of compensation for the version 1.5 issues and schedule changes, Infold Games is offering all players Diamond 120 and Energy Crystal 1 daily from June 5 to June 12. This totals Diamond 960 and Energy Crystal 8. Despite the compensation, the studio has not yet outlined a clear plan to address the underlying problems. Fans have expressed their concerns in the comments, highlighting issues like the pity system change, the dye system's complexity, and other bugs.

Delayed Version 1.6

Due to the challenges with version 1.5, the release of version 1.6 has been postponed until June 12, 2025. This delay also impacts the schedule of in-game events. The new weekly task, Starlit Pursuit, initially set for May 20, will now launch with version 1.6. Infold Games stated, "This delay allows us to refine task mechanics for a smoother experience. Additional details will be announced at a later date—please stay tuned." To compensate for this delay, players will receive 360 Starlit Crystals.

More Unlisted Adjustments On The Way

Infold Games is addressing the broader issues caused by version 1.5, noting that "there are also unlisted adjustments under discussion. Some changes require extended development cycles, but we commit to implementing them through phased updates." To enhance communication with the community, they are launching the Miraland Round Table initiative. Players can share their feedback directly with the developers by emailing the game's official email account with "Table Advisor" in the subject line or through the in-game Customer Service option.
