InZOI director confirmed some of the features wishlisted by community

This week, the development team behind InZOI is taking a well-deserved break to celebrate the New Year, observing a three-day holiday in South Korea. Before their holiday, project lead Hyungjun "Kjun" Kim shared exciting updates on the much-anticipated features fans have been requesting for the game, detailing which of these will be implemented and to what extent.

In InZOI, players will have the innovative opportunity to utilize real facial capture technology to craft templates for their zois. This feature, already highlighted in summer announcements for its convenience, is set to be further streamlined, as Kjun emphasized the goal of simplifying the zoi creation process. Additionally, players will be able to introduce their own pets into the game, although this feature won't be available during the early access phase. Fans will need to wait a bit longer, but this addition aligns well with Kjun's personal passion for animals.
The game environment will feature tall buildings, with a cap set at 30 floors. Although the game engine could theoretically support higher constructions, this limitation is in place to address potential performance issues and ensure a smooth gaming experience. InZOI will also include gas stations and combat scenarios. Kjun acknowledged that the initial slap mechanic felt too superficial to players, leading to its enhancement. Now, the game will offer full-fledged fights, complete with winners and losers, enriching the gameplay experience.
Recognizing the potential influx of newcomers to the genre, InZOI will include a comprehensive tutorial to guide players through the game's mechanics. This thoughtful addition is a testament to the developers' commitment to accessibility and player enjoyment.
As of now, Krafton remains on track to release InZOI in early access at the end of March, with no further delays anticipated. This update from Kjun not only showcases the developers' responsiveness to community feedback but also sets the stage for an engaging and user-friendly gaming experience.
