KEMCO's latest Android release, Novel Rogue, is a captivating pixel-art fantasy JRPG and roguelite experience. Players assume the role of Wright, a young apprentice under the tutelage of Yuisil, the Witch of Portals, within the Ancient Library. Wright's journey involves delving into the stories held within each book, each leading to a unique and dynamically changing world. One book might find you aiding a princess knight in reclaiming a fallen kingdom, while another plunges you into the enigmatic mysteries of the underworld. The choices you make significantly impact these worlds, ensuring high replayability and diverse gameplay experiences.

Gameplay Mechanics:

Novel Rogue features a turn-based card battle system with a twist. Each of the four books offers a distinct deck-building mechanic. After each battle, you select three new cards to bolster your deck, crafting a unique strategy for each world. Strategic elements include a "Change" command allowing damage redistribution among allies, and "Novel Power," which enhances your deck using ink. For those seeking a challenge, "Deep Record" mode increases dungeon difficulty for more intense battles.

Beyond combat, relationship building plays a role. Collecting treasures and gifting them to characters strengthens your bonds, potentially unlocking special endings. Aesthetic customization is also available through "Witch Stones," allowing you to change character costumes.
