KonoSuba Game CLOSES; Offline Version Coming?
The global servers of KonoSuba: Fantastic Days have officially shut down, marking the end of a 3.5-year run. This follows the Japanese version's five-year lifespan. While a relatively short run for a gacha game, especially considering declining revenue, the developers maintained active updates until the very end, including voiced story additions and a final song release just weeks before closure.
A farewell livestream in December featured Kazuma's voice actor, and the Japanese version even archived its entire main story on YouTube, allowing players continued access. Unfortunately, the global version lacks this offline option or a dedicated YouTube archive. However, fans can still enjoy the complete story via the Japanese YouTube channel.
The developers, Sumzap (originally published by Nexon, later Sesisoft), have transitioned their focus to the Jujutsu Kaisen Phantom Parade gacha game.
