LEGO Unveils Jango Fett's Starship, New Star Wars Sets Before May the Fourth
LEGO has announced the launch of nine exciting new Star Wars sets, all set to be released on May 1, 2025, aligning with Disney's celebration of May the 4th, known as Star Wars Day. LEGO traditionally marks this occasion with the release of a new Ultimate Collector Series Starship. Following the releases of Luke's X-Wing Starfighter in 2023 and the TIE Interceptor in 2024, this year's highlight is Jango Fett's Firespray Starship, famously recognized as Slave I by long-time fans. The name was officially changed to Firespray in 2021 at Disney's request, a change that LEGO has confirmed will continue.

This new rendition of Jango Fett's starship, inspired by its appearance in "Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones," boasts an impressive 2970 pieces. This is nearly three times larger than the previous version released in 2019 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of "The Empire Strikes Back," which had 1007 pieces. The updated model measures 7.5 inches high, 17.5 inches long, and 15.5 inches wide, offering a detailed and expansive build for fans.
